Committee backs Zettler Design Studio proposal for Columbia Park band shell; donor pledges $50,000

Casperson said private fundraising will support the project: “The funding commitment itself is going to be pledged and and spearheaded by Donna Rosar, who's already pledged $50,000 and a goal of raising another $50,000 for a total budget of $100,000.” He also reported a $1,000 donation was received at the Marshfield Community Foundation account established for the project.
Under the recommended contract, compensation to Zettler Design Studio shall not exceed $15,000 unless amended in writing and approved by the City of Marshfield. A committee member (identified in transcript as Rebecca) asked whether donated funds would be transferred into city accounts so the city could pay the contractor; staff confirmed that is the expected flow. The committee then voted to recommend council approval of Budget Resolution 09-2026.
