The Board of Mayor and Aldermen on April 7 opened a public hearing on Ordinance 2026-07, a proposal to rezone approximately 101 acres on and near Waldron and Blair Road from R1 low-density residential to PDR R3 planned density residential with a high-density base. The chair said the planning commission had given a favorable recommendation on Feb. 24, 2026.
No members of the public spoke on Ordinance 2026-07 during the public-hearing portion of the meeting. The chair closed the public hearing on the item and announced the meeting would begin at 6:00 p.m.
