Solar power agreement: The board considered a solar power purchase agreement and easement between Solar DGCA MetroE LLC and the Metropolitan Education District (MetroED). Trustees discussed a prior land‑use dispute with San Jose Unified (a cease‑and‑desist over shared property), which staff said had been resolved. The board approved the MetroED solar agreement by recorded vote (one trustee registered a dissenting vote on the motion).
Ceremonial resolutions and community recognitions: The board unanimously adopted a resolution recognizing October as Filipino American History Month and honoring Larry Itliong Day (Oct. 25), presented by student leaders of the Filipino student organization.
