Fond du Lac honors departing council members Thomas Schiesl and Antonio Godfrey

The Fond du Lac City Council on April 8 recognized two outgoing members with ceremonial keys to the city.
President Breault introduced a presentation honoring City Council member Thomas Schiesl for four years of service, citing his responsiveness to resident concerns and his knowledge and experience. Schiesl accepted the recognition, thanked colleagues and city administrators and said he will remain active in the community.
The council then recognized Council Member Antonio Godfrey. Members praised his perspective and presence; Godfrey thanked his wife for her support and praised city administrators. Several colleagues said they will miss both departing members and invited them to remain involved locally.
The council moved through remaining business, approved routine items and adjourned to celebrate the departing members.
