Council approves Rosewood Village conditional final plat, 20 lots proposed

The Broken Arrow City Council approved a conditional final plat for Rosewood Village, a residential subdivision proposed north of Houston Street and east of Aspen Avenue.
Rocky Hinkle, the city’s community development director, told the council PT2659-2026 proposes roughly 20 lots and six reserve areas totaling about 4.5 acres, noting the proposal differs from the earlier PUD allowance of up to 30 dwelling units. Hinkle said the technical advisory committee reviewed the final plat on March 3, 2026, and the Planning Commission recommended approval by a 4–0 vote at its March 12 meeting. "I recommend you approve PR 101-2022 and PT 2659-2026," Hinkle said.
A council member moved to approve the consent agenda with item L (the Rosewood final plat) considered separately; after the director’s presentation the council made a motion to approve item L and proceeded to roll call. The record provided shows council action to approve the final plat under staff and Planning Commission recommendations.
The approval means the project can move to any remaining ministerial steps required for platting and subsequent construction permitting. Hinkle said he would be available to answer technical questions as the project advances.
