During the Dec. 18 meeting the audit committee discussed filling the audit-committee chair and liaison roles and one additional member slot ahead of council reorganization in January.
Committee members proposed a recommendation that Council member Chris Pulver serve as audit-committee chair, Council member Carney serve as the council liaison, and Neil Barubi serve as the additional committee member. A committee member moved the recommendation and another seconded; the committee approved the recommendation by voice vote and said the full council would ratify the appointments at the Jan. 13 meeting.
Earlier in the meeting the committee also moved and approved the Sept. 18, 2025 audit-committee minutes by voice vote.
The committee recorded these as recommendations for the council to consider during the January meeting; no final council-level appointments were made during this session.
