Cabinet highlighted several midyear achievements: the number of students earning the state Seal of Civic Engagement is well on track toward the year’s goal, CTE pathway completions have already exceeded targets, attendance interventions are producing weekly school improvements, and a Window‑2 reclassification push has increased English learner reclassification rates in the midyear period.
Board members praised district teams for targeted work on CTE and attendance but reiterated the need to align LCAP investments with broader budget realities discussed earlier in the meeting. Staff said the LCAP midyear presentation is part of an ongoing review cycle and that full performance results are finalized at school‑year end.
