Roswell swears in mayor and council, honors firefighter and communications officer

Police Chief Conroy described the 911 communications staff as “heroes behind the telephone” and thanked them for their service and calm during high-pressure incidents.
The council also elected Council Member Sarah Bon as mayor pro tem for 2026; the nomination and subsequent vote were recorded as passing unanimously. The meeting then handled routine consent items and moved on to the city attorney’s report.
