A BFI representative who accepted the recognition described the outcome as "a positive one" and thanked city and county agencies for their partnership during the search. The council recorded the commendatory resolutions and moved on to other agenda items.
The presentation underscored private-sector support for emergency response: speakers emphasized coordination between BFI employees and law enforcement during the multi-agency search.
