Resident urges West Orange schools to revive districtwide anti‑racist training and offer parent recruitment support

Part told the board she has been in contact with Superintendent Moore and district staff and asked to attend district diversity council meetings to help recruit parent ambassadors from the schools.
Part also said she tutors through the West Orange African Heritage Association at Redwood School and suggested strategies to make parental participation in academic support programs more accessible for busy families.
No formal board action resulted from the comment; the district acceptance of her offer to assist was not recorded in the public transcript.
