The Town Council voted unanimously on March 18 to confirm John Brian to the New Canaan ethics committee for a three-year term expiring Dec. 1, 2027.
Councilor Eric Tun moved to take the appointment up; Kim seconded the motion. John Brian, who introduced himself during the meeting, said he has lived in New Canaan for nearly six years and is raising his daughters locally. "I thought that my professional background would enable me to best serve the community," he said.
The council completed the procedural motion and the appointment passed without dissent. No formal discussion or objections were recorded.
