A staff presenter reconciled prior committee presentations with the current county backup materials and said the major change centers on a SUNY Reconnect‑style initiative: roughly $208,000 is expected, of which about $108,000 is grant funding and $100,000 is likely to be base funding that could recur in future years. The staffer said the grant portion is unlikely to continue beyond the coming year but the $100,000 base could persist pending final state program rules.
The county also increased its out‑of‑county revenue by $75,000 compared with an earlier draft, a move the presenter said brings the county’s figures in line with a projected 3% enrollment/revenue growth assumption. Committee members moved the budget, added sponsors and approved the resolution by voice vote.
Chair Sperry and multiple legislators expressed thanks to college staff for the reconciliation and presentation. Committee members did not record detailed roll‑call tallies on the floor during the meeting; the vote was taken by voice.
The committee requested the presentation materials and staff agreed to circulate them to members after the meeting. The adopted budget will proceed to the full legislature for any subsequent action required by county budget rules.
