Zion council approves IGAs for consolidated dispatch, awards street bids and OKs engineering services; multiple motions pass unanimously

During discussion administration requested and the council adopted a change lowering the construction‑manager approval threshold for single purchases from $35,000 to $25,000 to match the city's bid threshold. The amended agreement was approved on a motion by Commissioner McDow and a second by Commissioner Fisher.
For streets, Director Roberts presented the June 6 bid tabulation for the 2024 Street Program and recommended awarding the base bid and Alternate 1 to Peter Baker & Sons. The council also approved a $25,500 professional services proposal from Christopher Burke Engineering for final design related to the 20th Street stormwater capital improvement project.
