Village Board approves water‑system work order, 2026 road projects and several library capital projects

At its April 13 meeting the Village of Waterford Board approved several Public Works Committee recommendations covering water infrastructure, road maintenance and multiple capital projects at the village library.
The board voted unanimously to approve a Baxter & Woodman work order to update the village Water System Master Plan, following the committee recommendation. Trustees also approved the 2026 proposed road projects; Trustee Bob Nash urged more use of mill‑and‑overlay for longer‑term durability, while Trustee Pat Goldammer said mill‑and‑overlay will be used mainly on roads in better condition because the village plans to seek voter approval in a November referendum for work on roads in much worse condition.
On library work, the board approved moving forward with an RFP to replace the library roof and approved a structural engineering contract with JE Frey and a related RFP for the Library Building Enclosure Work Project. Trustees also approved pursuing an RFP and using an Omnia Partners bid for replacement of HVAC equipment and approved an HVAC engineering services contract with Eagle Design to support that procurement. All motions carried by unanimous vote.
