During the May 12 meeting the Warren Township High School District 121 board approved a consent agenda that included minutes from the April 21 regular and executive sessions, bills paid totaling $1,228,936.49, personnel recommendations and other routine items.
Among personnel items listed in the consent packet were the hire of George Pierce as director of business services and Bailey Snell as a special‑education teacher. The consent agenda also included approval of the district’s fiscal‑year‑27 Title I schoolwide waiver and authorization for a girls badminton team field trip to the state tournament in DeKalb.
Later in the meeting, after Committee of the Whole discussions, the board approved a motion to expel student 2026‑14 for two calendar years. Trustees conducted a roll‑call vote that recorded affirmative votes from the members present; the motion carried.
The board opened and closed Committee of the Whole for discussion items earlier in the evening and adjourned the meeting at 8:54 p.m.
