To address the concern, Legislator Litz proposed a friendly amendment to the title to read: "Amending the 2025 Ulster County budget to fund a senior building maintenance specialist position and to fund the operation of 9 and 15 Joyce Lane in Kingston." That amendment was seconded and adopted. Another amendment proposed removing a $62,000 leases-and-rental line pending Ways and Means review; the committee voted to remove that line so the resolution could move forward with clearer accounting. Members asked staff to supply a detailed breakdown to Ways and Means ahead of that meeting.
