The San Bernardino City Unified School District board voted to accept and adopt a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the district and California School Employees Association (CSEA) Chapter 183 covering nutrition services senior and food production workers.
The public hearing on the MOU opened and closed with no public comments; Dr. Wyatt moved adoption and Miss Medina seconded. The vote to adopt the MOU was recorded as carrying during the meeting.
After adjourning to closed session, the board returned to report actions taken on student discipline and personnel matters. The board accepted hearing panel recommendations and ordered expulsions of students identified in confidential attachments in accordance with Education Code section 48900. The board also acted on recommended suspensions without pay for a classified employee and reported remand and readmission decisions for other student cases; motions for each action were moved and carried.
Because state law and board rules protect identifying information, the board announced only the outcomes and that actions were taken in compliance with applicable education code provisions.
