Resolution 264 (proposed Local Law No. 2 of 2025) updates the County Code's living-wage definitions in relation to youth employment programs; the committee adopted the resolution without recorded opposition.
Resolution 265 (proposed Local Law No. 6 of 2025), which would amend the Ulster County Charter and administrative/finance code, was postponed at the sponsor's request so executive staff can draft proposed amendments; the committee agreed to delay consideration until next month.
Resolution 266 amends committee rules to prohibit holding legislative meetings on certain Jewish holidays. Deputy Chair Lavine said the change follows precedent for other holidays; the motion passed with no opposition.
Resolution 268 approves a memorandum of agreement between Ulster County and the Ulster County Deputy Sheriff's Benevolent Association covering 2025'028 and adjusts the 2025 county budget accordingly. The committee adopted the agreement with no recorded opposition.
