The committee discussed whether earlier one‑year agreements had not been routed to council because of their short term; members also asked staff to include any dated, signed copy if available and to revise the ordinance title and accompanying exhibits to make clear the amendment is approving both the original agreement and the extension. One council member asked for revised language by the Tuesday meeting so the amendment would state explicitly that the council is approving the amended agreement and the underlying original agreement.
