Youth Advisory Council urges teen center and safer walking routes in Prescott Valley

Eric told the council YAC conducted a survey of high-school students and said about 300 students responded; the presentation cited retention and economic-opportunity concerns among youth and identified sidewalks, bike lanes and multi-use paths as high priorities.
"Right now, our biggest mission is to get us a teen center here," Eric said during the presentation. The YAC report detailed youth views on safety and opportunity and included suggestions for recreation programming, workforce exposure and civic engagement. School and district partners and staff (including Leanne Yee) were credited for supporting YAC activities.
