Trustees weigh commemorative library card designs; staff to run public vote

Staff proposed narrowing options to two or three designs for a public vote conducted via social media and a website poll; Rina said the typical planned limited run would be about 1,000 cards, though the vendor could accommodate up to 2,000.
Trustees suggested additional options, including using historic photographs of earlier library buildings and incorporating the library cat, Elsie, which several trustees said would likely be popular with the public. Rina said staff would email trustees sample options and the social-media rollout before posting so trustees could provide timely feedback.
