Ventura Unified introduces Karen H. as new director of educational services

“Karen comes into this position with extensive experience in curriculum and instruction,” a staff member said, citing her background in multi-tiered systems of support and early literacy. Karen said she was grateful for the opportunity and introduced family members in the audience. Board members praised her site-level leadership and expressed confidence about her contribution to districtwide services.
The board offered applause and congratulations; there was no formal action associated with the recognition.
