The planning and zoning board held a public hearing and received a few letters from adjoining property owners expressing concern about increased residential activity; planning staff said the board’s recommendation reflected that the change would not materially alter allowed uses on the ground and would, in staff judgment, better match the general plan overlay.
A commissioner moved to approve Ordinance 26-02; the motion was seconded and carried with the commission’s affirmative votes. The applicant thanked the commission following the vote.
The commission instructed staff to file the adopted ordinance with county records and confirm the attached zoning exhibits would be included as part of the final ordinance package.
