Mr. Toews, the contractor on site, told the board the remaining tasks are pouring the cattle pad and completing sewer and electrical hookups. "We anticipate being done by about May 15th," he said, adding that crews are waiting for frost to leave the ground so electricians can finish outside work.
Board members who spoke during the item praised progress and the road department’s work on site. The motion to approve the payment was seconded and passed with a unanimous roll-call vote.
The payment covers construction pay application No. 7; the board conducted a brief review of the project schedule and asked county staff to track final invoices and confirm the electrical completion date. No further conditions were attached to the payment approval.
