The Board of Education approved ratification of Measure BB bond expenditures at the March 18 continuation meeting, including a $123,000 purchase from AR Jones Educational Solutions for 21st-century classroom technology.
District staff reported the bond issuance is $148 million and the program is approximately 50–55% complete. The items before the board included expenditures and purchase orders for technology materials for bond schools currently under construction. "These are the technology materials we buy for the bond schools," a district official said of the $123,000 request.
Trustees asked about percent complete, budget status and quality control. Staff said the bond program is tracking within the $148 million issued, that architects and project managers perform routine inspections, and that most contractor work carries a one-year warranty; staff projected completion of bond projects by December 2026. The motion to ratify the expenditures passed on a recorded vote (motion passed, 5 yes).
