A meeting clerk conducted roll call and recorded Trustee Brown, Trustee Daly and Trustee Irvin as present; Trustee Lopez was noted as not yet present and Trustee Marks was announced as absent. Vice President Mia and President Mestus were recorded present.
The clerk told the public that comments regarding closed-session agenda items will be received before the board enters closed session and that emailed or voicemail comments submitted after the agenda posting up to noon the day of the meeting will not be read aloud; instead, they will be transcribed, printed for each board member and attached to the meeting minutes when those minutes are approved. After asking for any public comments on closed-session items and receiving none, the board convened into closed session.
