Chapman Elementary students and community donors honored at board meeting

Principal Christy T introduced student speakers who thanked the district for the blacktop and invited donors to the podium. Volunteers and local contractors — identified in remarks as Todd and Mark from Knife River Construction and other contributors — were publicly thanked for donating time, trucks and materials. Principal Christy T also presented awards to cafeteria lead Paulie Jones and wellness counselor Heather Credo for their daily contributions to student wellbeing.
The board and audience applauded the students and donors; staff said the projects and volunteer contributions improve daily experiences for early learners at Chapman.
