Planning staff explained the item was a site plan review on land zoned R2; the school previously obtained rezoning and brought forward the detailed field plan. The proposal locates the soccer fields at the north corner of the site near 12 Mile Road with fencing, a six‑foot perimeter fence, and an ADA viewing slab and walkway between fields. The petitioner was represented by Gina Vantine of Inform Studio, who answered technical questions from commissioners.
Commissioners asked only minor clarifying questions and expressed support; one commissioner identified themselves as a neighbor and said they looked forward to seeing the project built. A motion to approve the site plan was made, seconded and passed unanimously. The applicant and staff confirmed a resolution for the record would be included with the planner’s materials.
