Among the approved items: the board approved the March 10, 2026 meeting minutes; authorized two athletic budget transfers, a coaching hire and distribution of 2026-27 athletic-supplies bids; approved disposal/donation of kitchen equipment; authorized rebidding the stadium walk after receiving no bids; approved cafeteria bid advertising for bread and milk and participation in the summer-food program; and accepted a $500 Riverview IU6 donation for an elementary-school "remake learning day."
Dr. K notified the board of a Weber grant donation for $30,000, which the board accepted. The high school reported donations for student clubs and designated June 3 as the graduation date for the upcoming year.
On finance, the board considered district and auxiliary-account reports, purchase orders including an IU13 office-license subscription, a software agreement for next year and band uniform purchases; the board approved items one through five in the finance packet and separately addressed the RFP award for insurance brokerage.
The board also approved payment of bills (items one, two and three) and adjourned the meeting after brief new-business remarks and community-related announcements, including a request for green or clear 2-liter bottles for Jeff Tech students to recycle into 3D printing filament.
