Brentwood planning board elects officers; several members record abstentions

At the meeting the Brentwood Town Planning Board held officer elections. Kristen Aldred was nominated and approved as chair; Stephanie Kiza was approved as vice chair; Doug Marino was appointed board secretary; and Doug Finn was appointed as an alternate member and will be sworn in after paperwork is submitted.
A handful of members recorded abstentions during the voice votes. The chair thanked the appointees and directed staff to complete the administrative paperwork to swear in the alternate and update the board roster.
The board then handled routine items including zoning verifications and approval of minutes before moving on to other business.
