Board releases maintenance bond for Nicole Drive, signs Graham Road title sheet

The Franklin Board of Public Works and Safety on April 6 approved two routine infrastructure actions: releasing a maintenance bond for Nicole Drive in the Astral at Franklin development and authorizing signatures on the Graham Road reconstruction title sheet.
City engineer Joanna Tennel reported that required improvements for Astral at Franklin — including street trees, landscaping, street lights, storm sewers, swales, underdrains, streets, sidewalks and survey monuments — have been inspected and meet standards, and recommended release of maintenance bond number DVHNSU0832103 (amount $29,287.79) for those items. The board approved the release by voice vote.
Tennel also presented the title sheet for the Graham Road reconstruction project and asked the board and clerk‑treasurer to sign; the board authorized signatures.
Both measures were routine approvals recommended by engineering and planning staff and were adopted by unanimous voice vote.
