Elections staff told the Monroe County Election Board they have processed 8,116 mail-in and absentee applications so far in this cycle.
An official confirmed application volume is tapering from earlier peaks. "That's how many we processed. 8,116 total," the staff member said when asked for the count.
The board also scheduled a precinct committee casting lot for local precinct committee positions on March 18 at 1:00 p.m. in the same room. The casting lot applies only to local precinct committee people and does not affect statewide contests.
Separately, a member announced she will serve as president of the Eastern Association, replacing her prior role as vice president. Online participant Jessica thanked the board for their work during the election season.
The meeting closed with a motion to adjourn.
