The Cottonwood Heights City Council on March 3 approved Resolution 2026-16, authorizing an agreement with Perkins Engineering Incorporated for engineering services.
The resolution, which staff had reviewed in a prior work session, was moved and seconded during the business meeting. The council took a voice/roll call vote; Council Members Burrell, Newell, Highland, Holton and the presiding chair each answered “yes,” and the motion carried.
The chair thanked staff after the vote, saying, “Thank our staff for their work on this.” The council offered no substantive amendments during the business meeting and gave staff direction consistent with the work-session discussion.
The contract was presented as a standard services agreement to provide engineering support; the meeting record does not include further budget figures or contract length. Staff and the council noted the item had already been vetted in the work session, and no additional public testimony was offered during the vote.
The council moved on to consider Resolution 2026-17 and the consent calendar later in the meeting.
