Commissioners accept certificate of public tax sale; treasurer and clerk reports received and vehicle tax exemptions approved

According to the packet and discussion presented to the board, 215 delinquent parcels were advertised for the sale; staff reported that roughly 120 of those parcels were brought current before the sale, leaving approximately 95 parcels subject to sale and that most of those were sold. Commissioners commended treasurer's office staff for the recovery effort.

Each application was recommended by the treasurer and approved by motion and roll call.
