Linden Board approves committee slates and personnel appointments; one recusal noted

The Linden Board of Education voted on multiple committee motions and personnel items at its regular meeting, approving slates from the education, finance, buildings and grounds, planning & policy and personnel committees by roll call.

The education committee presented items 1–26 as a block; the board approved the slate by roll call with a recorded recusal by Miss Armstead on items referenced in the record as 52–54. The finance committee’s slate (items 1–29), the buildings and grounds slate (items 1–14) and the planning and policy slate (items 1–2) were each moved, seconded and approved by roll call. The personnel committee’s slate of appointments and reappointments (items 1–31) also passed. Where the record shows votes, members answered “yes” on roll call; the minutes-approval vote earlier in the meeting recorded an abstention by Mr. Cintron on the minutes approval.
