At the meeting the planning commission recommended approval of four special‑use permit petitions to allow double‑wide manufactured homes on small lots in the Meadowwood Court area (cases S‑26‑00006, S‑26‑00007, S‑26‑00008 and S‑26‑00009). The petitions were presented with staff summaries in the board packet and were represented in several cases by Rasheed Walford, who attended under power of attorney.
No members of the public signed up to speak on the manufactured‑home petitions. After staff and representative remarks, commissioners moved and seconded recommendations to issue the special‑use permits; each recommendation passed by 5‑0 voice vote. The planning commission’s actions are recommendations to the Board of Supervisors, which has final authority to issue permits.
