Mount Clemens backs 'Fix the Damn Roads' coalition and ratifies two collective-bargaining agreements

The Mount Clemens City Commission voted to support the Fix the Damn Roads Coalition and to forward the resolution to the governor and Michigan legislature. The clerk recorded affirmative roll-call votes for the motions; minutes record the motions as passed unanimously.
Commissioners who spoke during the meeting expressed general support for fixing roads and noted the importance of sidewalks and other local infrastructure. No ordinance or local funding mechanism was adopted at the meeting; the resolution expresses support and directs forwarding the coalition request to state leaders.
