Planning board to seek public comment on select board's town-manager ordinance changes

One member noted the upcoming expiration of a contract and said that contract expiration follows different legal rules than involuntary termination. "The authority lies at the Reedfield," a member said, explaining the practical limit on Wayne's unilateral authority under the current interlocal agreement.
Despite those reservations, the planning board voted to schedule a public hearing to receive comment on the select-board-proposed amendments and to forward its recommendation following public input and the requisite notices.
