County counsel and staff described training and certification requirements for assessors and confirmed that, if outside contractors fall through, the county may have to assume responsibilities and recover costs. The board asked staff to draft an updated resolution or an option set and to present sample language from other counties for the March meeting.
No formal vote was taken; the board directed staff to return a recommendation and sample documents.
