Preliminary modeling showed modest monthly operating gap (about $196), with a projected modest revenue figure per stall under current use assumptions.
If approved, the 8th Avenue site was targeted to be operational April 1 and the library chargers late April or early May, coordinated with a separate generator project at the library. Staff said signage and on‑site information will display the kWh charge and provide Charge Labs support contact information.
No council vote was recorded at the work session; staff sought direction to finalize the fee and place a resolution on the Thursday finance agenda.
