The board also approved a one‑year renewal of the district’s internet service provider contract and a homebound instruction placement for a student.
During the personnel portion of the meeting, the board accepted several resignations and approved promotions, hires and changes of status across professional and support staff categories. Board members thanked departing teachers for their service.
Superintendent Mr. Sport recognized student achievements, including a high school team advancing to the national Academic World Quest competition and middle school winners in a Keep America Beautiful contest. The Ed Foundation reported upcoming community programs, teacher grant deadlines and a Twin Valley alumni reunion on May 17.
