Ted Higgley, representing Higgley Properties and Chapel Tractor, opened the Chapel Tractor application and asked the board to combine two parcels for display and to continue the hearing so outstanding zoning issues can be resolved. The board discussed scheduling around a Zoning Board of Adjustment hearing on March 23 and agreed to set a date-certain continuance after the ZBA hearing.
A motion to invoke jurisdiction was made and approved by roll call. After discussion the board moved to continue the Chapel Tractor public hearing to April 2 at 7:00 p.m.; the motion passed unanimously 7–0. Board members clarified that the continuance was a procedural step to allow the applicant to address zoning questions and did not represent approval of the site plan.
Next steps: Applicant will address the ZBA requirement and the hearing will be reconvened on the date certain for further consideration.
