During the workshop session, the clerk provided a series of operational updates.
On the urbanization project, the clerk said paperwork shows the contractor has reached substantial completion for most work but that remaining punch-list items — largely cleanup and final touches — must be finished before final payments. The town will follow a 41-day advertisement period after the punch list is complete and the clerk said the town’s share of the contract is 34% and pay requests (including one from a contractor named Hector) are being held until job completion and paperwork are finalized.
The clerk reported that three solar lights were installed at the south entrance and that one unit cost about $1,500. The clerk also said the town submitted the 2024 C report and 2024 F66 to the Wyoming Department of Audit and received email confirmations of receipt. Separately, the town was notified that interest rates on its general and sewer money-market accounts will be 3.5% beginning Oct. 17, 2024, down from about 4.07% previously.
On community events, the clerk announced the annual trunk-or-treat at town hall on Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. and encouraged participation. No formal council votes were recorded in these operational updates in the transcript.
