Order 2026‑010 covered an approximately 10‑acre parcel (part of the parcel already lay inside the district; the action completed annexation of the remainder). County counsel Dave Doyle summarized the packet and noted approvals from the property owner, Redmond Fire and Rescue, and county staff; no members of the public spoke during the hearing and the board voted to approve the order.
Order 2026‑011 was a second single‑parcel annexation (identified in discussion as 550 NW 74th Street). The county again opened and closed the public hearing with no testimony, and the board moved and approved the annexation.
The board also approved the consent agenda after pulling item three (Solid Waste Advisory Committee appointments) for later consideration. Commissioners thanked Joseph Mauy for his service on the Noxious Weed Advisory Board during the consent vote.
What’s next: The pulled appointments in item three will be postponed for reconsideration at a future meeting; the annexations will be processed consistent with county procedure and notified to the fire district.
