Council hears sewer enterprise plan and recreation budget; longtime sewer employee acknowledged

The mayor said the change prepares the fund for future capital work; no vote was taken at the hearing. The clerk and council recognized longtime sewer department employee Dave Carr, who is retiring this week, and offered thanks for his service.
For recreation, Director Cwley and the mayor reported estimated FY26 revenues and expenditures of $173,000, noting the program has grown and is operating near budgeted expectations. Council members praised the director for running programs while keeping the fund stable. No public comments were recorded and no votes were taken that night.
