Robert Lee building) with a project cost of about $90,000 fully covered by SoCalREN. The same speaker said Los Angeles County completed sewer relining work at 214 and Belshshire Avenue and performed resurfacing at no cost to the city; restoration was expected to finish by the end of the week.
Public safety announced a neighborhood safety meeting at Fetty Middle School on Wednesday, March 4, at 6 p.m. The sheriff’s department and the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health will present on the effects of nitrous oxide (N2O). Sergeant Patullis reported promotions for Deputies Rosales and Jackson to training roles and introduced replacements Deputies Reyes and Gonzalez; Deputy Ray was introduced as a patrol deputy assigned to the city.
In a separate announcement recorded in the meeting, the City Attorney reported that recently approved regulations proposed by the Attorney General (recorded in the transcript as "Rob Bont") affecting dealing procedures and rotation of dealer positions for card rooms will take effect April 1, 2026; card rooms have 60 days after the effective date to develop a compliance plan and must be in compliance by May 31, 2026.
