Oakdale council approves liquor license for Mana Brewing taproom

The Oakdale City Council voted Sept. 9 to issue a new liquor sales license to Mana Brewing LLC for a taproom at 7600 Second Street North, following a staff presentation that said state background checks and approvals were complete.
City staff member Chris told the council that Mana Brewing had satisfied state communications and approval steps and recommended that the council consider issuing the license. The mayor opened the required public hearing; no one from the public stepped to the podium to comment, and the council moved and seconded approval.
By voice vote the council approved issuance of the on‑sale intoxicating liquor license covering an on‑sale brewery/taproom, off‑sale brew pub and on‑sale Sunday license for the current license term, which expires March 31, 2026. The council welcomed the business to Oakdale.
The decision followed staff confirmation that applicable state checks were completed; the council did not receive public opposition during the hearing. The applicant will complete any remaining local final inspections and Washington County/health department approvals required before opening.
