Lindsay, a staff member, described the project as “a custombuilt product” featuring wood lap siding, wood windows, asphalt shingles and a parged slab foundation and said it “meets the design guidelines” and will be minimally visible from the street. Applicant Rebecca McCurrie, who joined on Zoom, did not add to staff comments.
Sean Bolan, the neighborhood representative, told the commission the application “could not be more clearcut” and that it “meets all the guidelines,” and recommended approval. Commissioners moved and voted to approve the COA as submitted.
The approval clears the applicant to install the 8-by-12 shed in the rear corner of the lot as described in the staff report. No additional conditions or alterations to the scope were recorded in the meeting minutes. The commission then proceeded to the next agenda items.
Next steps: the applicant may proceed with the work consistent with the approved COA; appeals of HCC decisions can be filed to Chancery Court within 60 days as noted at the start of the meeting.
