Rialto Unified board elects new officers amid brief debate over rotation

Before the public comment period the superintendent reported closed‑session actions: the board granted an unpaid leave for employee #203405 effective Jan. 13, 2026, and accepted several administrative nominations with the effective dates listed in the board packet; the superintendent said each vote was unanimous.
The board adopted the meeting agenda as corrected after a single clerical change on the Finance & Accounting calendar (page 103). The body approved consent agenda items — including contract renewals and budget reports — in single‑motion fashion unless specific items were pulled for separate consideration.
The meeting adjourned after routine business; the next regular meeting is scheduled for Jan. 21, 2026, at 7 p.m. at the Dr. John R. Casalunas Education Center.
