Library Board approves final section of policies, will send document to city legal; pet-policy wording and ID changes discussed

The Library Board voted to approve the final section of updated library policies after members proposed minor wording and formatting edits; the director said the full document will be sent to the city legal department for formal review and then published online.

During discussion the director said edits were largely stylistic and that the policy now states the library does not restrict displays or programs "based solely on content or point of view."
